Happy Valentine’s Day!
I confess, I have always loved Valentine’s Day. I don’t know if its the excuse to draw hearts all over everything, the pink and red color combination, or all of the candy– but I have always been drawn to it! My husband on the other hand, basically hates it, so I never get my hopes high. It’s definitely more fun now that we have little ones! Brayden got Planes valentines to take for school, and we made a cute to go cup with candy and this printable for his teacher.
What else is new this week?
-I have been substitute teaching a little bit here and there at the school I used to work at. Always a nice break from my own kiddos!
-I am getting over a terrible head cold. I somehow managed to not get sick at all this winter until now, so I guess I can’t complain! I will be SO glad when I can breathe out of my nose again!
-We are pinning down more details on our move– like when, a few things we are doing beforehand, and my brain is spinning with logistics. My current projects are designing the laundry room/Brandon’s bathroom layout and my closet. We have a giant walk in closet now, and we are going to a standard, double door closet. Where should I begin as far as a closet system? I would love to know your tips! And yes, I have already started purging. Trust me.
-My friend Kara Kae from The Mom Diggity launched her new online print shop– such CUTE stuff. I am already scheming for Kenley’s birthday….in October.
- K is still mostly sleeping on our bedroom floor. She goes to bed OK, it’s the 11am wandering and crashing thing we are struggling with. I am trying not to freak (she won’t sleep in here forever!) AND she is about to get an entire new room/house– I am just not sure it’s worth the fight.
- I have been listening to Kacey Musgraves pretty much nonstop lately. My cousin plays guitar in her band, and the more I listen, the more I love! What is on your playlist lately?
