I need to update my book goal list on the top of the page (it’s ever changing!) — but in the meantime, here are the books I am currently reading.
– Cleaning House by Kay Wils Wyma. After noticing the sense of entitlement that her kids were showing in their home, Kay decided to take her house back. This book is her year long account of introducing her kids to basic life skills– equipping them to make beds– and showing them how meaningful work can bring out the unexpected.
I dove headfirst into this book. My kids are still pretty young to be showing any entitlement BUT it IS great inspiration for introducing chores, small things they can do to help around the house and learn skills at the same time.
– Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns by Lauren Weisberger. The Devil Wears Prada is one of my favorite reads (and movies!) so I couldn’t WAIT to get my hands on the sequel and see what Andy has been up to.
– Wedding Night by Sophie Kinsella. I am a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella (The Shopaholic series? I finished it in 2 weeks!) so I can’t WAIT to see what Sophie has in store for this one!
What are you reading lately? Anything you recommend?
