We have had a LOT going on lately (which seems to be the norm) so here’s the highlight reel:
Sunday, we went to Brookfield Zoo with my high school BFF, her hubby, and their little guy, Paxton. The kids had an absolute blast, and I loved that we were doing something AS AN ENTIRE FAMILY.
Yes, my husband actually exists. I know. Harvest has him busy so we were reallllly glad he could come with us!
Brayden loved the Dinosaurs Alive exhibit. Kenley? Not so much! She whimpered through, and we promised to go find Nemo afterwards. She LOVED that part!
Can we talk about how much I love dressing Kenley? My sister found this adorable sweater for her at JCPenney and I couldn’t wait for her to wear it. My little fashionista– I love it!
After our busy weekend and trip to the apple orchard AND the cold snap that hit the area, the kids are feeling a little under the weather. No fevers, thankfully, but coughing and sniffling. Yesterday was a day of snuggles in the chair, blankets, tea, and movies, and I suppose if today is a repeat so be it. Tis the season, I was just hoping we could hold off on the crummy colds for awhile.
