Last week, my friend Sheana called and wanted me to send her some of the kids artwork. I am not an artsy-craftsy type so I knew I would have to do something simple with both kids. Otherwise, she was going to end up with some of Brayden’s school projects! Luckily, my friend Tricia is SUPER crafty and had told me about this little idea and I even had all of the items. Winning. Plus it was a snow day (the first of 5 or 6? I lost count) and we needed something to do.
I printed out a heart (made on PicMonkey) on card stock for each of the kids. I cut up a few pieces of colored construction paper, put glue on the paper and they put the pieces of construction paper on. Kenley was more interested in the glue (which is why I ended up doing it for them because she was trying to stick her HEAD on that paper!) and Brayden was wanting the colors to be just a certain way on his paper.
Crazy how different they are in this aspect!
We will mail these off to Sheana (with a couple other surprises that I have!) and I can’t wait to see them in her apartment on the walls.
