I have been starting to dream up an idea for Kenley’s big girl room and as I was scouring websites online, I fell in love with the most gorgeous bedding from Land of Nod.
The pink matches her existing curtains perfectly, the bunnies are SUPER adorable, and I am a sucker for anything that has gray on it or in it somewhere. I added the pieces to the cart (sheet set, duvet cover, comforter, pillowcase, and quilt) and knew my budget had been blown. Totally, totally blown.
So plan B started to form, and I wasn’t giving up on plan A just yet.
The pink and white duvet from IKEA is similar, and costs a mere $20, and the down comforter? Another $20. That ALREADY brings my cost down! I purchased these last week on my furniture excursion with Tricia– and plan to get the bunny rabbit pillowcase and possibly the quilt from Land of Nod to complete the look.
It still matches her existing curtains and other furniture, and I can easily add more accessories down the road if I want. She won’t be moving into a twin bed until fall– but it DOES get me excited to makeover her room!
